Happy Earth Day!

Hello jammers! As you know, today is Earth day, so get out there and show you care! The Earth has many beauties we must take care of. If we don't, earth's animals and plants may be gone forever! I have a challenge for all of you. Do one or more of the things I list, and tell me about it in an email to ajcornerblogspot@gmail.com. The more you do, the better chance you have of winning a gray or pink & blue spiked collar! I need some sort of proof, so include it, :) If you don't know how, contact me and I will tell you. This ends June 1st, 2017, So get out there and go green! Official rules are beneath the list.

1. Go outside and pick up trash. (20 points)
2. Plant a tree or flowers, (20 points tree, 15 points flowers)
3. Turn off all electronics and lights you aren't currently using, (3 points per electronic/ 2 points per light)
4. Time yourself, take a 5 minute shower. (15 points)
5. When done charging an electronic, pull the plug out of the outlet! (5 points)
6. Donate $5 or  more to an endangered species website, ( 40 points per $5!)
7. Use cloth bags instead of plastic 3 times, (20 points)
8. Take an hour off of screens one day and go outside! (35 points)
9.Use rechargeable batteries and energy saving lightbulbs for two electronics/lights, (15 points)
10.Recycle 10 things, (10 points) but even better, reuse your recyclables! You could make a birdhouse, toy for a sibling, or even jewelry holder! Click my link to get ideas. (5 points per reused item)
11, Melt old crayons and make crayon art! (20 points)
12. Skip McDonald's for a week (all that waste adds up!) (20 points)
13, Save an animal, or as gross as it seems, pick up worms on the sidewalk and bring them to safety, (50 points for 5 worms)
14. Giveaway your old books and toys, Other people would appreciate it, and that way you both save money! (35 points)
15. Turn off the water when brushing your teeth, (10 points per time)
16, And finally, encourage your family to do the same! (20 points for 4 people, 5 points per person)

This contest is for anyone, non member or member, You must get 100 points for one entry for a spiked collar, or a leap year lamp. (specify). Include in your comment your username, status, things you did, and point number,  specify your prize wanted, and you must also include proof. No storages!
